Airports, schools, industrial parks, housing and towers. The same categories of window and sealing systems, at work in very different buildings.
Photographs and project names are compiled from published project material, shown as a reference for building type and scale.
The same window hardware behaves very differently on a school and on an airport. This is what changes.
Huge openings, high wind load at the facade, and hardware that has to survive tens of thousands of cycles a year. Friction stays and multipoint locks are specified by cycle count and by salt-spray test, not by look.
The risk is not wind but people: windows are opened by children, slammed, and hung on. Rounded handles, restricted opening and anti-drop chains matter more than a slim profile.
Large runs of identical units, tight delivery windows and a budget per square metre. What decides here is repeatability — the same gasket, the same screw torque, on the ten-thousandth window.
Volume plus long service life with almost no maintenance. Gaskets and sealant are chosen for compression set and staining rather than for strength.
Movement is the issue: inter-storey drift, thermal expansion over a 100 m facade, and joints that must stay watertight while moving ±25% or more. Movement capability, not tensile strength, is the number to specify.
Send us the categories, models or opening sizes you need. We will organise the configuration and quotation — in Chinese or English.
